I throw the ball and when the dog returns he has to have his two front feet on the box. The elevation of the box stabilizes the dogs front feet for the stand position.

He learns in essence that his front feet on the box releases the ball again. This dog’s name is gauge. He is an eight month old Labrador retriever that I recently rescued.
