THIS IS AWESOME! My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog. Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches. Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

http://www.sitmeanssit.com In this daily dog training video, we see a great transition in both the owner, and the 2 little dogs that she owns and loves that is going to make her life much easier. She learned how to confidently handle the Sit Means Sit remote dog training collar pretty well for her first lesson, and should have her dogs off leash around distraction in no time! She also saw very clearly that she could give the dogs all the commands she wanted previously, but until we have the dogs attention, most words are pretty meaningless. Didn’t matter though, as we were able to fix alot of that pretty much on the first lesson. 2 small dogs on first lesson, and 1 happy owner!

Dog Training - Remote electronic clicker

Sit Means Sit dog trainer Ashton Fitz-Gerald decided to use this target exercise with his puppy, however instead of using a traditional dog training clicker, he uses a Sit Means Sit dog training collar. This dog training videos main purpose is to demonstrate how training tools are neither positive nor negative by nature. The common perception of electronic dog training collars is that they are negative and not a good training option because you are teaching the dog to do something to avoid getting shocked.

This approach to dog training with a remote electronic dog training collar may have been true before Sit Means Sit came along, but it certainly isnt the case anymore. In this puppy training video, you will see the Sit Means Sit dog training collar is being used only when the puppy is touching the target stick. If the Sit Means Sit dog training collar was causing pain to the puppy, or he felt the need to avoid touching the stick because he didnt like what happened when he touched it, you would certainly see signs of avoidance. The puppy would not want to go back to the stick time and time again.

The adjustable nature of todays modern electronic dog training collars such as the Sit Means Sit dog training collar means that the levels can be adjusted so variably that the steps between each level as very small and virtually undetectable from one to the next. We even took this video a step further and demonstrated that even when the Sit Means Sit dog training collar is set to the highest level, the puppy in the dog training video does not avoid touching the stick. Dont believe us? See for yourself. Wed also recommend downloading our free report on the technology behind modern electronic dog training devices. Electronic Remote Training Collars

Electronic collars, also known as e-collars or shock collars, are the latest type of training collars for dogs, as well as perhaps the most effective.  Each type of electronic collar has its own particular focus.  One of the most common types is the electronic no-bark training collar.  As you might have guessed, this type of collar is used to encourage the dog not to bark.  This goal can be accomplished through the use of an electronic collar in a few different ways.  There are electronic training collars that, when the dog barks, give off vibrations, ultrasonic noise (a sound that only the dog can hear), or different types of spray such as citronella, lemon, or water.  A popular option for these among dog lovers is the Petsafe PBC-1000 premium stationary ultrasonic bark control system

Or, you can activate it until the dog performs a desired action (this is called “negative reinforcement”).  Basically, you can use a remote training collar along with just about any training scheme.  These types of collars can come with a variety of different functions.  The most advanced remote training collars can output multiple levels and durations of stimulation to the dog.  Vibration and sound features are also available should you need them.  It’s also worth keeping in mind that remote training collars can be used in conjunction with other training tools.  When selecting one of these bear in mind that the Innotek FS-15 basic static electricity shock remote dog trainer is one of the more popular selections.

The current isn’t so strong that it will harm the dog – it simply gets his attention.  It will teach the dog to stay within the boundaries in order to stop the current.  Electronic dog training collars for invisible fences are really easy to use, as their popularity suggests.  That being said, you will need to train your dog in order to make sure that the lesson associated with the fence is learned correctly.  If you aren’t really sure as to how to go about this, it’s a good idea to consult with a professional trainer.  This way, you can get the best possible results out of your invisible fence system.  Be sure to consider the Innotek IUC5100 premium electronic dog fence and remote trainer system when making your selection as it’s one of the more popular options.
