My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

A bill approved by the State Senate could prevent lawmakers from approving the guidelines for commercial pet breeders that were scheduled to take effect this summer.
In November, voters in Missouri narrowly passed Proposition B, instituting new restrictions on large-scale dog breeders. Proposition B limits the number of intact dogs allowed at breeding facilities, but Dr. Ron DeHaven, chief executive officer of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), explains there is no guarantee that it will improve the lives of dogs in these facilities. The AVMA has introduced a model bill to assist legislators in writing substantive legislation aimed at improving the treatment of dogs at breeders, shelters, and pet shops. Dr. DeHaven also urges all those who care about dogs to get involved and support the AVMA’s efforts.

On February 24, 2009 Best Friends was called in by the Missouri Department of Agriculture to ist with a heartbreaking case. A breeder facing charges for not having a license for his 200 dogs, had set fire to his house and kennel. River Valley Puppies Kennels burned to the ground, but thankfully, the dogs were safe because they were loose on the property.
