When a dog wants to lie down and take a nap, it isn’t really concerned whether it’s lying on dog bedding or an actual dog bed. Half the time, the two are virtually the same thing anyway. A couple of blankets, which humans would consider bedding, can be a perfectly fine bed for a dog. A flat cushioned pad with a fleece lining might stand with a foot on both sides of the fence.
