Positive stories of raising two puppies together?
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

Some stories about how you were happy you raised them together?
Sorry, no.
Most people do not raise two well adjusted dogs if they have littermates or pups of the same age.
The issue is that one depends on the other…sometimes completely, and cannot function on its own.
If you want to raise same age/littermate pups, you need to commit to taking them to separate obedience classes, places by themselves, etc. to teach them to function as an individual, as well as a team.
I obtained littermates at age 4 where this wasn’t done. It took 2 years of work before these dogs could function independently.

I’ve raised more than 2 at a time and the only problem I ran in to was when I upped the training level for the competition obedience ring. I needed to separate them during training sessions or the one not being trained would bark excessively, wanting to get out of the crate and train too……lol.
Two puppies raised together will find each other more interesting than their owner, so you need to spend more one on one time with each individual puppy. Other than that, having two to amuse each other can be an advantage.
I found housebreaking them easier also, as one taught the other, and yes, dogs can teach each other the good AND the bad stuff.
Sorry you had bad luck, Annie, but in every case in my house, the puppies that I raised together were very well adjusted dogs, several more so than individually raised dogs. I imagine it takes more training experience.
