Is it easier to raise kittens or puppies?
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

I’ve helped raise a litter of puppies before and I was just wondering if it was easier to raise puppies or kittens. Or if it was about the same.
Thanks.
Holy goodness kittens are WAY easier to raise!!
Kittens
Pros- Easy to birth, small, mother pretty much does everything, don’t make much mess, once they start walking you put a litter box down and they pretty much train themselves, they never have to go outside therefor don’t have to worry much about illnesses, rather quite, as long as the mother has food and water they will be fine. To raise kittens all you pretty much need is a bed, litter box, food and water, and toys.
Cons- Mother can hide them, they can get lost, other cats can play too rough
Average raising cost per litter(of 5-6 kittens) to 10 weeks old- $20-$50
Puppies
Pros- Who doesn’t love puppies??(lol), more active, seem to grow up quicker, more interactive
Cons- Mother needs vet checks and x-rays while pregnant, some mothers need help whelping, need to be monitored 24/7 for the first couple weeks, mothers are so much larger then the puppies so they can get crushed easier, living area needs to be cleaned often, chew up everything, potty everywhere, need to be taken outside many times a day, vet checks and shots, once they start barking they never stop, need lots of socializing, can get sick very easy if you’re not careful, eat a lot, can’t be left alone too long, need lots of supplies.
Cost of raising 5 puppies to 10 weeks old- at least $850(not including stress, lack of sleep, and all the work involved, the gas to the vet and all the supplies I used but already owned)

Kittens, definitely. Once they get the hang of the litterbox, you just keep them occupied and play with them and they’re fine. Puppies, on the other hand, require a lot more attention and training.

I’ve raised both.
Probably kittens, cats are a little less active, they don’t need to be taken walks, and you don’t need to train them to go to the bathroom - the mommy cat already teaches them how to use a litter box. And if you ever leave for a few days you can just clean their litterbox, put out enough food, put out enough water, and they’ll be fine. Dogs require more attention and can’t be left alone really. Plus, cats are softer and fluffier and they can purr.
watch out for claws though.

I’ve owned 12 cats throughout my life and 4 dogs.
Well while puppies and kitties are similar to take care of, when they develop, around 6 months to a year, differences start to show up. A dog will be more trouble only because a dog is more active in nature. Also it depends on the type of cat or dog. Hope I helped

Raised/fostered many many kittens(200+) and one litter of puppies(5).
As long as any kitten is litter trained it is far easier to care for than a puppy. Our house is ‘animal safe’ but even a puppy can cause more moments of concern than any kitten ever could dream of.

kittens they are fast playful and sweet
puppys’ are playful but dogs love to sleep and that will make them fat
and lazy. get a kitty cat
its easy to clean a litter box by the way you just scoop it up put it in a bag then refill the box
and to clean up dog poop you have to go out side (even in the winter just to pick up the poop) then go in and the next time (about 1 or 2 weeks later) do it again
