Yes, it never gets …
Yes, it never gets easy to give them back. Even after we have done it seven times! Luckily we were able to keep Eli which has made it easier. He was more cut out for being our pet and a movie dog.

Some dogs do have abandonment issues and those generally are career changed to a regular life which is best.

That’s cool that you do that, but it has to be tough to let the dogs go after getting attached to them. Do the dogs ever seem to have abandonment issues?
