This video shows protection dog training at CPI (Canine Protection International). More accurately, it demonstrates the results of CPI’s protection dog training program. In the video you will see complete off-leash control. So much so that in the beginning of the video our training staff (in this case Omri) is willing to serve as decoys without protection. This in spite of the fact that Jet, the Belgian Malinois in the video, is not wearing any collar.

The rest of the video involves the decoy (Jay) with a bite suit on doing his best to evade and fight off Jet’s attack. Notice regardless of what happens Jet continues to fight. If you consistently fight a dog like this their performance will begin to decrease over time. This level of fighting is the result of teaching advanced fighting skills to prepare the dog for this type of encounter. Naturally this represent a tremendous amount of labor, as well as our unique approach to teaching advanced fighting skills.

Dog owners may send their dogs to CPI for training in any of our protection dog training programs. We work with most working breeds including German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. CPI also sells fully trained adult German Shepherds as well as imported puppies. As raising a puppy to be a protection dog is not the same as raising your average pet CPI also has special dog training programs for puppies.
