http://www.sitmeanssit.com This dog training video shows using the bases with a bit of distance between you and the dog, as one of many ways to get the dog to run straight side to side or ‘over’. I implement this a long with many other drills to give the dog a firm foundation. You will also see some of the fixes that I use when the dog is not completely even on the base. This also helps him to tuck everything in when he is doing normal sits from a distance. A come in whistle drill through distraction is also shown.
