Puppy Training - Viewer Q&A
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

The second episode in the series where I take the most popular questions that I receive and answer them in a video. I have several tutorials on cues that puppies should be taught and they address a lot of questions not answered in this video. I recently organised them all into one playlist, found here:

A BIG thanks to everyone that subscribes, comments, favorites & likes my videos. It is this positive support that motivates me to make more. If you have sent me a message and I haven’t replied back yet, I will try my best to catch up and respond as soon as possible. Thank you for being patient!

Today I took my three months old GS Nona for a walk. It was her first time. She did well with the leash, but she moaned all the time, walking and moaning, you know. Is this some of concern? I am very caring with her, I never try to push her…Should I repeat the experience next week or should I wait until she is older?

You totally rock dude. Your philosophy of having a good relationship with the dog and throwing the idea of being Alpha over your dog in the bin is great and needs to be accepted all over the globe. Obviously I agree to your philosophy. It is sad to know that there are only a few dog trainers who believe in this issue. The only ppl I know is Zak George (Host of animal planet, Superfetch) and you.

Can’t wait for more:):)!
Great video’s you …
Great video’s you have uploaded here. I still have a few questions myself, that might sound very basic. I never had a dog myself. I have been waiting for 2-3 years now to buy a GSD, doing plenty of research on the topic, waiting for the right moment. But I can’t find an objectif answer to: Does a GSD usually sleep in- or outside the house after 8 months? Is sleeping outside better for the dog? Only this topic keeps confusing me as there are alot of different opinions on it.
@crypticprowler My …
@crypticprowler My GSD was very quiet when I first got her. The only time she would bark is if I got her riled up while we were playing, and that was how I had to teach her to speak. If your GSD is still very young you may just have to wait a bit for him to grow into being a little more vocal. Even now my pup (9 months) isn’t much of a barker unless I give the command.
As tab said, a good idea is to teach “quiet” along with “speak” and give a BETTER reward for the “quiet” command.
@Suffix95 There’s …
@Suffix95 There’s definitely a lot of distractions, but it is not an area designated for dogs.
@crypticprowler …
@crypticprowler Usually when we teach a cue to bark, we also teach a cue to be quiet and associate a reward with it. However, it will encourage some dogs to be more vocal since it is a behavior that they are being rewarded for. I just wouldn’t recommend over-doing it. In the end, it’s your decision.
Ok thanks. How …
Ok thanks. How often do you put up a video?
@LuvPinkTwizzler …
@LuvPinkTwizzler I’ve already got a video with many of her tricks. I might make a new one eventually.
I’ve got another …
I’ve got another training question for you… I’d like to possibly train my GSD to bark on command with “speak.” My only worry is that if I do teach him, he’ll become a chronic barker and I don’t want that… currently he’s very quiet and makes little whining sounds every now and then. Do you think he’d bark all the time if I taught him speak? Also, I have no idea how to teach him… he never barks so I can’t ever capture the command for him.

Great video once again!
Your new place seems so great! Is the fenced grass area that you were playing at, an area for dogs? It looks like a great place to train around distractions with all those people and cars passing!
