@Laura12378 yes dogs lose their teeth once they start reaching about five months my dog is a bichon frise and he bites and he losta tooth and he stopped biting 4 a while

I just learned two …
I just learned two lessons.
1) If the dog bites you, reward it with a bone.
2) If that doesn’t work, ignore it and hope it gets better with age.

my 2 month kangal keeps doing this, i dont live with him because i live in a apartment but when i go to take him for a walk and play with him he starts off fine and happy but then when he gets excited thats when he starts trying to bite, 2day he actually punctured my skin a tiny bit. ima try this method i hope it works because when he gets older hes definatly gonna try taking off my fingers loool

i have a stressed …
i have a stressed nature, and im having problems with my puppy. he does mouth but i tell him to stop and instead he gets nasty ive had my skin punctured from him too. im going to try this method from now on rather than getting myself too stressed out

my yorkie puppy, 2 months old, are still biting. but he improved alot. is it ok gently tap head with one finger, not too hard then sign in ASL, “no” then sign in ASL “chew yes” when i hand him toy or bone to chew? because I am deaf. I don’t really use voice. So that is kind challenge for me.

Our puppy loves bitting our feet, I’ll say NO or EH! and give him a toy to “redirect” but sometimes when I walk away he’ll run to me and start bitting again, he also like bitting the cables, like the tv, computer etc cables…what can I do?

@ronnysoeberg Pushing with your hands (fore-paws) can send the wrong signal - play rather than punishment. (Not that you want to use punishment anyway.) Dogs and puppies “box” with each other in play. You want to extinguish the positive stimulus (your play) when the dog mouths you too strongly. Get up and leave the pup, by first casually moving FORWARD into its space with your LEGS. Don’t turn away immediately. That can look like your are initiating a game of chase. Leave and ignore the puppy.
