My black GSD named Eico.. have had him since 8 weeks hes about 13 weeks now.. overall hes a great dog all german shepherds are.. we both just woke up liek 10 mins before the video so he was a bit tired durin this.

just some advise …
just some advise from one Gsd Trainer to another Harnesses are NOT the best for dogs unless you are training Personal protection/attack dogs.
it does NOT Reduce pulling the best control is at the top of the neck! good job tho beautiful dog!

Toss the food …
Toss the food between his front paws on the down when rewarding, that will keep him down and waiting for the next treat instead of popping back up. Toss several treats at first several times so he will defiantly want to stay down. Looks like he’s learning fast.

@ThePeefer94 No problem! Just remember to keep everything simple for him because he is a baby and just learning, even though he is smart as heck! Be sure to make more videos as he grows, he is such a pretty dog!

What a gorgeous puppy you have! He’s going to grow up beautifully!! You are doing a great job training, I can see he wanted to give you a shake for a while.
Here are some tips: After that second down you did not reward him before you made him sit up again. And you should say the command once, you will confuse him if you keep saying down over and over again. Also, you may want to change your hand signal for down, since it is the same as your sit command. Try a finger pointing down. Good luck!
