Does puppy training spray really work for house training?
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

my puppy is 10 weeks (had him for two weeks) and he cannot grasp the idea that he has to go toilet outside. i have seen the puppy training spray in pets at home and wondered if it actaully works? would it benefit him if i got it him? i really want him to start going out side for the toilet
He is still only a baby at 10 weeks and house trainning takes time and patients. Some breeds take longer than others. You just need to take him outside about every 40 mins or so and after waking, playing and eating . Watch him and be patient you can’t rush him and when he finally goes praise him. There are bound to be accidents and never punish him when that happens . Just make sure you clean them up with a produce designered to get rid of both stain and odour. I would waste money on a spray . Housetraining is just the start of all the hard work and patients it takes to be a responsible dog owner.

First I would get a package of puppy pads. Usually it depends on what dog you have! Then try to spray the spray on the puppy pad! If it works you should try using it outside! But if it doesnt work than I would leave the dog outside for a long period of time with food and water, so when he has to go he will!

If you want him to go outside, do not train him to use anything indoors. Most dogs can’t understand the concept of pads or newspapers, but not the floor or carpet, and then you have to retrain him to go outside. Here’s a great site for housebreaking training;

I would look at yourself before saying that it is the puppy’s fault, you are the owner and effectively to the puppy the dominant leader. If you are not showing him how to behave properly then it will reflect on the behaviour of the puppy.
By the sounds of things you are not patient with it and it is quite young for the puppy to leave its mother considering it beneficial to be done from 12 weeks. Be patient and constant if you are going to mess with its head by making half an effort then you will not get anywhere.
Its you not the puppy that is the problem!!

10 weeks is too young to expect a housetraining miracle.
No, the sprays don’t work.
Get some training bells (Petco, Wal-Mart, PetSmart, etc.) and train the dog to use them. Keep the dog LEASHED indoors, and keep him attached to a member of the family at all times that he is not being ACTIVELY monitored or crated. Feed at the same time every day to try to keep elimination on schedule. Seriously consider purchasing or borrowing a book about training.

Have tried them and it took 8 months to house train the dog. have got a new dog now and just took her outside every 20 minutes until she got the idea. Took 2 months to train her. She has been clean ever since and done nothing in the house. Use a puppy crate until she is clean. Worked brilliantly for mine and I would recommend it.
