English Mastiff - Beginning off leash obedience dog training
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

http://www.DogBehaviorOnline.com - Ty, the English Mastiff, is in the beginning stages of off leash obedience training.

Good job, very well trained! How old is the beauty?
I just recently …
I just recently rescued an English Mastiff from an organization. He was abused as a puppy. But he is now a healthy and happy 255 Pound 7 year old.

He has the remote …
He has the remote to a zap collar in his hand thats how.
My god, someone …
My god, someone watches that video and they get from it that your pup is laying on the road. My dogs will lay where i tell them to. I train in an empty parking lot,as I live on a busy street. The same pave as the street, in texture, apear. etc. R mine safe cuz they’re not taught on a road and yours is headed for trouble.. HHMMM sounds like the green eyed monster has once again reared his ugly head. (IMHO)
btw, Very nicely done friend! He has a well trained human !
it depends on the …
it depends on the age, that it;s a puppy for sure. My English Mastiff it’s 9 months old, and 130Lb, but the way they grow it;s like this: THe first 3 years they grow hight wise and the 4th year they fill in. So at the age of 4 an english mastiff it;s considered full grown!
Sorry, can’t post …
Sorry, can’t post hours of training video. It takes a while to get a dog to this point and it isn’t practical to tape all that.
Great video but how …
Great video but how did you get to this point? How did you teach it. would love to see that.
How old is he. I …
How old is he. I though Mastiffs had bigger heads and flappier skin aroung the mouth.
Exactly, whatever …
Exactly, whatever your method it works! Anyway if he was lying on the road it’s not as you won’t see him! And if anyone did hit him, who do you think will come off worse? The truck or the dog? lol!
Very well trained!
Very well trained!
Yes, I do use an …
Yes, I do use an ecollar. It is a very subtle way of training, though, and a bit too detailed to get into on a post. Have you ever worked with someone with an ecollar?
Cool, are you using …
Cool, are you using an electric collar? If so when do you use it to correct him? Like what would he do for you to give him a correction?
Listen to people …
Listen to people complain that your dog is in the road, why do they care it’s obvious that he will go where you tell him. I smell some bitter grapes my guess from their own wild out of control dogs…keep on.. mhn67
you are hired
you are hired
No, it’s not asking …
No, it’s not asking for trouble. A well trained dog will obey wherever he happens to be. I don’t see how it could be asking for trouble, its not like I have him lie down and then leave him there.
Very nice dog & …
Very nice dog & well trained - Congratulations.
But Why are you doing it on a road !
Why not in a park, or your yard?
I would NEVER teach my dog to lay down on a road - that is simply asking for trouble (IMHO)
How old is this …
How old is this mastiff?
Did you train him …
Did you train him yourself?
