Too much wrinkle in my opinion. My pup is 3 months and is NO WHERE close to being that wrinkly. I like her better that way. Less chances of issues in the future.

i breed cane corsos and this dog couldnt hold a torch to them in my opionion but as a newly recognized breeder my brother loves this breed i personally love my main sire vito a cane corso but i might get one of these theyre just too big in terms of children the corso is much better

Where owners only …
Where owners only care about the look and can’t afford or have the time/space to keep this wonderful breed! The dog suffer’s in the end, and a family that could have homed him/her with no problems, would have missed out, but mostly the dog.
I ahve to say after …
I ahve to say after owning 2 over 13 years, they are absolutly the BEST breed. I mean they are soo inteliigent, so protective, so docile. I now have a neice and nephew, and my boy (4 in August) is a dream with them. Obviously not in the room alone with them. The up keep on 1 is not that great as ppl would assume! I’m sooo pleased that I have had the pleasure to home a wonderfull breed! Please anyone thinking of owning them, please please read up on the breed, too many go to home’s.

I have owned and …
I have owned and bred Neapolitan Mastiffs for over 15 years. My first female saved my 2 children from a house fire. They were sleeping upstairs, I was out hanging laundry. She woke up my daughter, took her sleeve and led her into the baby’s room so she could grab her brother. She then guided them through the smoke outside to safety. I trusted my dogs explicitly with my children. I am sorry for what happened! Please do not condemn an entire breed. Training & breeding may have well been a factor !
The Neo isnt a dog …
The Neo isnt a dog for the inexperienced. They can be very protective of their property and owner but with the proper training can be a wonderful pet.
I wouldnt allow my Neo in the same room with a child without being on a lead and your sister allowed her Baby in a room with 3 Neos??? That poor child will carry her scars ( outside and inside) for the rest of her life just because of her mothers neglect. Hopefully charges were brought against your sister for child abuse!

i’ve NEVER seen these kinds of dogs before!!! I’ve been dogsitting two english mastiffs for 5 years, so I’m familiar with the mastiff breed but never have I seen some like these…very interesting and beautiful!!!

again the vid shows a wonderful breed of dog . well cared for , fit , healthy and happy . then along come the usual drivel from the sadsack utube “experts” . always there ready to hand out their hateful venomous garbage . the greeneyed monster abounds .
you just keep up the good work with these dogs and take no notice of the critisizers . they know nothing .
p.s sad about the child but thats bad owners for you . dont blame the dogs , blame the owners stupidity …..

I am sorry for what happened to your niece, but you can’t just place all neapolitan’s as “lethal as rottweilers”, especially since rottweilers are great dogs too. You can’t 100% trust any animal with small children, and when you have 3 extra large breed dogs around a 4 year old toddler, the chances higher for a mishap. I hope the 4 year old girl will recover from this incident, but again, these dogs are great family dogs, but every once in awhile, something like this can happen unfortunately.
my sister had 3 …
my sister had 3 Neapolitan mastiffs & the three attacked her 4 year old daughter leaving her with 3 fractures in the head, multiple bites on her legs, arms & torso & she needed a 10 hour operation on her head. These dogs when it comes to children are as lethal as rottweilers as they turned on a 4 year old child & left her within an inch of losing her life as the extent of her injuries were bad. The child needed plastic surgery & had nerve damage to her face that couldnt be repaired.

Stop breeding! To much dogs on the market! Dogs are animals and not a thing, what you can buy and put away, if you don’t like!
