THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

just wondering heard the bullmastiff breed is a good guard dog but worried it wont be cause its a cross breed
There is absolutely no way to accurately predict the characteristics of a mix. Poorly bred purebreds can vary widely in temperament and appearance, and mixes vary even more so. In this case, the mix would be even more unpredictable because the Bull Arab is not a well-established breed. It’s, what, like thirty years old? It takes many, many generations of stringent selective breeding in order for a line to breed true, and the Bull Arab is not yet that predictable and conformational. (Why do you think they’re recognized by no reputable kennel clubs whatsoever?) So, a Bullmastiff/Bull Arab cross.. Could be capable of carefully detecting threats like a Bullmastiff. Could be totally friendly like a Bull Arab should be, or hideously aggressive as many Bull Arabs actually are. Could be a friendly mush like some Bullmastiffs are, or overly suspicious as other Bullmastiffs may be. Could be stout and heavy like a Bullmastiff, or leggy like a Bull Arab. Could be fawn, apricot or brindle with a clear black mask like a Bullmastiff. Could be red, black, liver, brindle, blue, silver, tan or buckskin like a Bull Arab. Could be dog aggressive as many confident Bullmastiffs are. Could have a high prey drive like most Bull Arabs, as hunters, have. Who knows?
But yes, I’m sure the dog would be strong, and it would be reasonably big. Both breeds are; so although everything else about the dog is totally unpredictable, you know he’ll be extremely powerful. If you want something predictable, though, then get a WELL-BRED purebred, and SOCIALIZE and TRAIN him well. For instance, want a dog like the Bullmastiff? Get a Bullmastiff. Want a Mastiff? Get a Mastiff. Want a French Mastiff? Get a French Mastiff. So on and so forth.

Oh yeah, without a doubt. They are definitely big dogs. Training is essential though, that way the dog understands whats good and bad. Both dogs demeanors are usually a little more on the meaner side so I would anticipate they are very good guard dogs.

The dog may inherit the guarding instincts of the mastiff or it may not. Mixed breed dogs are far less predictable than properly bred purebreds for this reason–the potential for genetic variance is much greater.
I’d think this dog’s size alone would be a good deterrent to would-be thieves and troublemakers, though.
Also, if you are looking for a guard dog keep in mind that socialization is very important so you avoid fostering a high sense of fear and skittishness in your dog. A high level of fear can turn a dog into a fear biter who cannot distinguish friend from foe, meaning if you allow your dog to be uncontrollably aggressive he may be a danger to your friends and even your family. Whatever dog you decide to get, if it’s a guard dog you MUST extensively socialize it and give it basic obedience training.
Mean does not make a good guard dog. A controlled ability to read his master’s body language and obey commands makes a good guard dog. A good guard dog only attacks when his master has lost control of the situation and is in a panic. A bad guard dog will lunge at the fence and show aggression toward people who don’t deserve such a paranoid reaction.
