THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

Dogs have come a long way - from surviving on their own in the wild, dogs are now well cared pets. Dogs that have survived the hard life in the wild are the now pampered dogs that are considered as members of the family . Dogs are well loved and highly valued pets and because they are considered as members of the family they will be provided with all the comforts imaginable. Dog owners ensure that the pet will never go hungry.
Unlike dogs in the wild, pet dogs never go hungry. Because of this kind of care given to the pet, a dog owner will surely be upset at the pet’s habit of eating non-edible things. Will you leave the dog to an animal shelter if you see that the pet has again decided to make mince meat of the antique chair’s legs?
The habit of eating non-edible things is one of the common concerns of pet owners. Dogs really do have big appetites. As such, dog owners always ensure that the pet is provided with enough food. The pet though will be seen eating non-edible things. The inquisitiveness as well as the excellent scenting ability often results to the ingestion of non-edible things.
Pet dogs will be seen eating grasses, rocks and rotten things with gusto. Humans would naturally find rotting things and feces disgusting. Thus we should be thankful that the dog has taken a liking only to wood. Although less disgusting, the habit of eating wood must be stopped as well. Not only would it be very expensive for an owner to buy new furniture but the habit of eating wood can have dangerous repercussions on the life of the pet as splinters can perforate the throat or the intestines. The pet must be prevented from eating wood.
Bored dogs will eat wood. Being social animals, dogs would crave interaction with the family and if no opportunity is provided the dog will be bored and become destructive. To get the family’s attention, the dog would eat wood. Dog experts believe that the habit of eating wood can be associated with a nutrient deficit diet. To correct the imbalance in the system, the dog would eat wood. A pet owner can easily prevent the dog from eating wood. An owner has to find time to bond with the dog. Nutrient rich dog food would be expensive but it would be a much better alternative than having to spend for new furniture or for the necessary medical bills if the dog is injured by the eaten wood.
