THIS IS AWESOME! My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog. Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches. Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

Raw dog food diet is a very promising type of food program for pets because it has so many positive effects. Pet owners have noted how their dogs end up with shinier coats and also healthier skin as they take on this new diet. Dogs also get noticeably cleaner teeth after succumbing to this type of diet.

You can feed your pets with raw dog food either by creating the meals yourself or buying them already prepared. You can give them raw meats but be sure to just stick with fish, chicken, beef, and lamb. In terms of giving them fruits and vegetables, of course these are important and must also be part of their raw dog food diet.

If you will be giving your dogs with raw dog food that are already in packages, just make sure that you research about your source. Check the ingredients contained in every package and take time to know the manufacturers behind the said food item.

Another good strategy for feeding your own raw dog food meals is through the prey model. This follows the way wild wolves feed. In this method, chunks of meat will be included in the meal and it is also advised that you throw in some small organs and also raw eggs to go with the food.

There are also some raw diets these days that are being advertised commercially. You will find them packaged as frozen goods to help preserve their freshness. They are quite convenient because they are easy to find and you don’t have to take time mixing your dog’s own food. Be aware though that these frozen raw diets can get a little expensive.

Meats are not the only staple part of any raw dog food meal. You should also consider adding some vegetables and fruits into the meals. You can easily do this through puree because vegetable and fruit chunks may not always seem appetizing for the dogs.

Another quick variant for veggies and fruits would be their dehydrated counterparts. Not only are they cheap and quick to serve, but you can always store them at just room temperature to make sure that their quality do not degrade in any which way.

As for feeding raw dog food in the form of bones, just make sure you stick with chicken and lamb. Never cook the bones because that makes them too brittle and prone to becoming splintered.
