THIS IS AWESOME! My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog. Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches. Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

If none of the usual training methods gets to your pet, it can be extremely frustrating. Maybe you simply do not have the talent to train a dog, or your pet is particularly difficult to deal with. Whichever the reason might be, you shouldn’t give up now. We can’t all be dog whisperers and every dog owner has to start somewhere. Fortunately, new methods of dog training have been developed, and they don’t use the owner’s skill at all. Among these methods, the dog Training Collar is extremely popular.

A training collar is a special electronic collar that goes around your dog’s neck like any other collar. The difference is that you are given a remote control for the collar that typically has two functions. The first of these functions is often a warning button. There is a warning button on the remote that you can use to send warning sounds whenever your dog starts barking. The second function is a shock button that gives your canine companion a little shock whenever it is pressed. The barking collar uses a method called negative reinforcement.

Many uninformed individuals believe that the dog collar is dangerous for animals and it shouldn’t be used. How humane the collar is completely depends on the user. You are the one holding the remote and you can decide how powerful the shocks from the collar are; if you don;t want to stress your dog too much, you can simply go for the milder shocks. Most pet owners who have a Training Collar realized there’s no need for them to abuse the device before the dog learns when to bark. Start out with two warning beeps before you press the shock button and your dog will learn very quickly to behave at the sound of the beep. To enforce this good behavior even more, whenever your dog obeys to the sound of the beep, give your dog a treat.

In a short time, your dog will be trained well enough that you won’t worry about the trouble he might get into at the dog park or out in the fields. He will listen to your commands and not run off chasing after whatever catches his eye. The training collar is a better alternative than giving your dog up to a shelter when he may end up being put down.

The training collars aren’t a new discovery; they’ve been used by dog owners for some time now. The shocks don’t hurt your dog a bit; they simply startle your dog. If you are still reluctant about dog training collars, you can test them on yourself. Many other dog owners achieved successin teaching their pets how to behave using this simple mechanism. Why shouldn’t you?.
