THIS IS AWESOME! My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog. Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches. Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

Dogs can be highly excitable and enthusiastic creatures, often likely to behave in an extreme fashion to strangers and other dogs it is crucial to try and take the edge of this behavior as, for all the research on animal psychology that’s been done in the world, we still cannot be fully sure on what is going through their heads at any one time.

Discipling your dog is crucial, this means spending plenty of time with it, dogs learn through repetition and a reward/punishment system. In the same vein, you need to ensure you take good care of your car if you own it on a contract hire and leasing plan. Teaching your dog to recognise and respond to a list of orders means that you will be well equipped to control it.

Firstly, you must take the edge of your dog’s reaction when you can other people greet it, there are a number of ways to do this but you must find what works best for your dog. Do the same when you put it in the back of your car or van.

Disciplining and punishment may go against your natural instinct to love and bestow affection upon your dog but the benefits will emerge. It is simply not safe to keep an excitable dog and one that gets over stimulated when they see new people, just like we get over stimulated when we see a brand new BMW X6, imagine if it were to go mad at a young child, the consequences are unthinkable. All is takes is a little discipline and the teaching of the difference between right and wrong. This is important from a legal point of view because if your dog does end up attacking another person or animal, you could be the one who ends up facing the consequences.
