Want to breed your dog but feel like you can’t handle the responsibility? It’s amazing how a little knowledge can actually assist you to make that decision for yourself. The first thing you should know is that the female dog is referred to as a bitch while the male dog is called a sire.
When pondering on how to breed a dog, you should know a little bit about the canine mating cycle. For instance a female dog usually gets in heat once every six months. It’s not advisable to breed your dog if it happens to be young and in its first cycle since it could lead to a growth stunt.
