Dog Grooming Isn’t A Difficult Task
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

NAIL TRIMMING
Not surprisingly, you’ve conditioned your dog from puppy hood to having his feet handled and the nails cut without a fuss. There are dogs that do not want their nails and toes being touched by anyone because of the experience they had from what their owners did. You can remove the dog’s fear of his nails being cut if you would only treat him with gentle trimming and nail tipping. If this is done habitually, it will result in trimming sessions that will be no difficult for you. On the other hand, if nail cutting is coupled with lots of sympathy from you, the puppy will grow up believing this is a horrible experience, and it will be-for both of you.
To enable him not to notice that his nails are being trimmed, you can begin doing it at his rear feet. In addition to cutting the nails, look at the pads of the feet to make sure they’re not harboring any foreign objects, ticks or sores. Foot hygiene will be improved if you clean excess hair from the pads, carefully using blunt-nosed scissors or some sort of shaver.
EAR CLEANINGS
Frequent ear cleaning (one or more times a week) with a cotton ball and warm water or cleaning solution provided by your veterinarian will help ward off painful, pesky and potentially costly ear infections.
A sure sign that you’ve missed the boat is frequent head-shaking by your dog. Take your dog to his doctor for an examination or you can just put a prescribed antibiotic ointment onto the infected part. Preserve one at hand for emergency situations.
TEETH CLEANING
Maintaining your dog’s teeth will help prevent bad breath, gum disease and the other issues inherent to bad teeth. Ask for instructions from his doctor on the techniques to keep your dog’s teeth and mouth healthy and clean. Not only will this keep your dog in top-notch shape; eventually will save money on expensive veterinary bills for dental work.
