Common Problems On Dogs (Health Related And Behavior Related)
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

Dogs and dog owners can be both distracted by possible canine health and behavior related conditions. Here are some of the usual dilemmas on this with their corresponding advice:
Health related
Arthritis
Dogs are also capable of being in pain like pain caused by arthritis. Good thing there are drugs like Tramadol 50 mg, aspirin, Rimadyl, etc. These are actually safe as long as you got them under a vet’s prescription.
Dental problems
Gingivitis can be common to dogs. The best first aid to this is cleaning the teeth and gums. Also, for prevention, correct and habitual brushing would really help.
Allergies
Like humans, dogs may also have allergies. Best way to treat these would be through antihistamines, ointments for itch and redness, dog shots, and most of all, putting your dog away from his allergens, whatever these allergens may be.
Behavioral problems
Dog biting
For non dog lovers, dog bites is the first thing they would associate with dogs. So for dog owners, it is important to learn how to get your dog to stop biting. Best advice would be learning why your dog becomes aggressive and try to avoid this situation.
Dog chewing
Dogs’ playfulness can be clearly characterized by their chewing. This can however be both destructive and distracting. Best way to handle it is by putting deterrents or non-edible/awful tasting yet safe creams on your valuables. This will make them understand what things to chew and what are the things that should not be chewed.
Coprophagia (poop-eating)
This is actually a common trait for many dogs. Although this may be normal to some, it can also be a disease. To make sure that your dog is well, bring him to a vet when he starts eating his poop. But as to preventing it, clean your dog’s dirt as soon as possible.
Dog scratching
The basic thing to learn on how to stop a dog from scratching is identifying the cause and taking corresponding actions. To treat dog itch, fatty acid supplements and Calendula ointment are also used. But to be sure, ask for your vet’s advice first.
