When it comes to training a dog, there are many variations that will affect the best way to train your do, one of which is the breed that you choose. It is very important to train your dog as you will want them to realize that you are the one in command of the situation and you are the one that must be obeyed.
There are many different reasons that you will want to train your dog including making sure they are housebroken, keeping them from jumping on guests in your home, preventing them from chewing and destroying your possessions, and avoiding several other negative behaviors.

If you want to train your boxer to be a guard dog of your home, you won’t have much trouble. Many individuals are afraid of boxers because they think that they harbor some sort of natural aggression, but they are just as sweet and playful as any other breed of dog. People base their opinion of the dog on the posture and aggressive looking physique of the dog and assume that they intend harm. However, if you don’t take the steps to train your boxer well, this might very well be the case.

You will have to be very patient and very diligent when training your boxer, because there will be moments that he will openly defy your command to do or not to do something, and he will continue to do what he wants, however, in this case you will have to take the steps to give him no other choice. It is always important to exercise patience during these circumstances to keep things positive. It is never too early to start training a boxer puppy, and you should start the moment you bring him into your home if you ever hope to have a well socialized, friendly, and well behaved boxer that will play with you as well as obey you.
