THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.

A Canadian Pointer is a medium sized dogs with a muscular body and a coarse coat that is about 1 ½ inches in length. Bred and developed in United States, the Canadian Pointer belongs to the HPR group (hunting, pointing and retrieving. English Pointers, Portuguese Pointers and Labrador Retrievers were crossed during the later part of the 1800s and resulted to the development of a breed of gundogs used to hunt rabbits, foxes and other small upland animals.
A Canadian Pointer measures about 30 inches at the withers and has a weight that range from 48 to 60 pounds. Closely resembling its progenitor in appearance, the Canadian Pointer which is also known as the Adirondak Pointing Dog is often mistaken for an English Pointer. People that have owned both breeds would know that the Canadian Pointer has shorter ears and a thicker coat. The thick coats of Canadian Pointers allows these dogs to hunt in the very cold temperatures of the mountains. The thick coat comes in three color combinations - light brown and white, black and white and dark brown and white.
A Canadian Pointer was primarily developed to be a hunter but this breed is not as agile as other gundogs. This is due to the fact that a Canadian Pointer’s front and hind quarters give this breed a narrower stance. Owners of Canadian Pointers can expect to have the pet for about 15 years as this is a fairly healthy breed.
Unlike other hunting breeds, a Canadian Pointer has an even temperament. Due to this breeds eagerness to please personality, Canadian Pointers are usually hunted on weekends and on weekdays, these dogs make ideal family companions. People that have opted to have this breed as a home companion would encounter no difficulties in training the pet as Canadian Pointers, apart from being intelligent also have an obedient nature. Aside from the ease of housebreaking, this dog easily learns tricks as well. Another plus factor in opting to have this dog for a pet is its low maintenance requirements.
A Canadian Pointer has a sensitive scenting ability. The dog is also extremely protective of the human family. A Canadian Pointer that appears to be calmly lounging in the sofa would immediately bristle if intruders are detected. This dog is accustomed to outdoor life but it can easily adapt to the placid life of a home companion especially in a family with children. A Canadian Pointer makes an excellent and undemanding home companion that is gentle with the children and tolerant of other family pets.
