What is Dogmantics? Dogmantics is a new dog training show that airing here on youtube shortly. This dog training show will not only be for dog trainers, but will be for ANYONE who owns a dog, or is thinking about owning a dog. This program is not only for clicker trainers, but for anyone interested in new ideas to train dogs. Everyone is welcome.
I am very excited to be starting this show! If you have any ideas on topics for upcoming episodes please comment below. What do you think of the idea of field trips, contests, and interviews?
Topics that will be covered in this show will be: How to teach your dog not to bark, how to teach your dog to want to do things for you, how to teach loose leash walking, how to teach obedience behaviors(sit, down, stand, come, fetch, heel) , how to teach your dog an interrupter cue to stop them doing unwanted things (without seeming like the bad guy), how to use a clicker, how to start clicker training, how often to train, how to wean off of treats/ reinforcers, what types of rewards to use, how to create calmness in your dog how to solve problem behaviors- digging, barking, whining, chewing, house training, jumping up, mouthing, marking and more

The trainer who …
The trainer who taught the class used old school methods. He mocked clicker training and showed us a horrible video on it. ever since then I have had the same feeling about it that he does. It doesn’t work unless you have food nonstop..ect ect.. Thanks for posting these videos and convincing me that clicker is the way to go! I’m sure my dogs appreciate it too! I’ll be sure to get some videos up to show the difference. I have one up now with my cattle dog doing a very reluctant leash less heel

I can’t wait to see these new videos! Ive started to retrain my dogs with clicker training. They are successfully trained with the old choke collar method. “successfully” isn’t as good I would like it though.Their heeling is very good. however nothing like constant eye contact heeling backwards and doing turns like splash! I started on the under heeling and doing turns. Amazing how i get constant eye contact. No stress signals! I was recently certified by a dog training school in NY.

Clickers are used in zoos??? What type of cruel zoo has animals performing tricks?? And it has been proven that the behaviours exhibited by whales and dolphins is highly un-natural and the result of pressure and stress.
Check chains are used in the army, police dogs, guide dogs for the blind; the most well trianed, most reliable dogs in the world- Go figure!
