Dog Trainer Saves Dog with CPR
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

Canyon Crest K9 Training Center owner, Ron Pace, saves the life of a boxer with CPR during a regular training session. During the session, the dog suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing. Ron immediately applied CPR. Within a few minutes, the dog regained consciousness. Once the dog was resuscitated, the owner took him to the vet. It was later found out Sugar has Cardiomyopathy. We believe it’s not just a coincidence that this dog’s name happened to be SUGAR and his life was saved. Ron Pace has dedicated himself to training diabetic alert dogs to alert their owners to dangerous blood SUGAR levels. If you are touched by this story and want to help save a human life by providing them with a trained diabetic alert dog, you can donate to http://www.dogsforcures.com a non-profit organization set up to do just that.

For God’s sake, …
For God’s sake, never and I say NEVER perform CPR like that on an human. This man doesn’t know what he’s doing, even if he has good intentions. The dog isn’t even on his right side…
As a Vet said previously, call a vet if this happen. He will tell you what to do.
Same things with humans. Call 911.

Comment from a …
Comment from a veterinarian: This guy had no idea what he was doing, and he didn’t save the dog as the dog’s heart hadn’t actually stopped (dogs without a pulse don’t move). If you don’t know how to do CPR, don’t waste precious time doing this. RUSH THE DOG TO THE VET!!! Also, this was not a seizure; the dog has cardiomyopathy, which is a common heart condition in boxers.
@FlightySalad The …
@FlightySalad The trainer said in the beginning that he wanted it filmed so he can show the vet. But honestly it might be because he is the owner of the training center and was covering his butt..

@lab946 Thank you …
And yes, I think she was watching out for the dog also, like they say, keeping the dog calm in a situation like that will be better off for it.
@lab946 Thank you for not being contradicting or rude to me!
@ccamusc CPR ( …
@ccamusc CPR (CArdio,Paulmanary, resuscitation is both a way of keeping O2 and blood flowing and restarting the heart. A difibulator is only effective in a case where the electrical system of the heart stops or malfunctions. CPR will restart a heart if the causes are muscle related such as in this case where the dog got to overworked or excited and for lack of a better term had a heart attack.
I would have been …
I would have been freaking out if this happened to any of my pets, too, but if the guy told me to be quiet ONCE, I would be quiet, if it meant helping at all save my pet.. The dog needed to be as calm as possible, I think. And screaming is most likely stressful.
Way slower than …
Way slower than chest compressions for CPR are supposed to be done since it doesn’t change from dogs to humans, but awesome job none the less.
@carolineboucher1 …
@carolineboucher1 Not to be contradicting or anything but I bet the mom or whoever it was filming just didn’t want her to scream because she thought it would freak the dog out…
@Blindedbythelight …
@Blindedbythelight She did, at least twice. She was still trying to get calmed down at the end so you couldn’t hardly understand what she was saying but she said it.

I cannot believe …
I cannot believe how ignorant society has become. Everyone who is posting hateful and degrading messages are exactly whats wrong with the world today. Just remember karmas a bitch. And everyone is a tough guy over the internet. I would bet my life that you punks would not say these words to me, face to face, if this was my dog. Lets call it like it is. Great job by the man for saving the dogs life, and the woman crying and screaming I understand. Thankfully we have people like the trainer onhere
