Most breeds have a parent club with a name like "Labrador Club of America" or something like that. You can do a Yahoo or Google search for "_____ Club of America" (you fill in the breed). Once you find the parent club you can look on its website for the local club in your state. Choose a breeder that belongs to the breed club to have a higher chance of the breeder being up to date with health issues of the breed, etc. But beyond that...there is no "good breeder" list for all breeds.
