How can I locate/find quality dog breeders in my city?
THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

I live in Orlando FL and I am trying to locate a quality dog breeder. Any good websites or other sources you could recommend would be great. Thanks
I think we would be better able to help you if you have a specific breed in mind. Most breeds have a parent club with a name like "Labrador Club of America" or something like that. You can do a Yahoo or Google search for "_____ Club of America" (you fill in the breed). Once you find the parent club you can look on its website for the local club in your state. Choose a breeder that belongs to the breed club to have a higher chance of the breeder being up to date with health issues of the breed, etc.
But beyond that…there is no "good breeder" list for all breeds.
Good luck!

If you are looking for a purebred dog, shelters and rescues are full of them.

Google your breed and a list of websites will pop up. Then, google a rescue organization for your breed and a very short list will pop up. Find a rescue with the dog you desire and then adopt it. Rescue a dog.

You don't need to go to a breeder. just go to http://www.petfinder.com. Good luck!!
