see this has been caused in the UK they r very few cases in the U.S. and the only reason why they some cases here is cuz thoes dogs where brought here and where breed to normal and healthy cavaliers but it was in the gene pool. seeing this it’s puthic and sad knowing that the poor dogs have to go threw this and all they did was be born!!!! i know very responseable breeder and they check every single pice of paperwork knowing that the puppies r healthy and will go to good homes!

Find me a perfectly healthy cavalier at over 10 years old. seriously. I have never heard of one, and of the hundreds I meet in the city, they all have some issue. My cavalier is 7 and you’d think she was 17. heartbreaking. these breeders should be banned and the public should know whats happening to ALL our purebreeds. They are all getting worse, not healthier at all.

Its a real shame, and unlike yourself we do not live in fluffy bunny rabbit land, I suspect that its the breeders quest for money that is at the heart of the problem, without programs like this the public would never get to know the facts.

…can i just point out that the owners of the cavalier king charles spaniels on that program and the boxer should have their animals took off them and should never be allowed any ever again they handled the problems all wrong and made the stuation worse, if the collars hurt the dogs what kind of a good idea is to put a harnes on them and pull drag them so it digs in their skins?????

… this country is going down the sh*tter the breeds have been bred to be stronger and stronger and try to remove all the problems the other things found are no supprise but the breeders are trying to remove the problem so why dont the fat c***s in the bbc directors board put their money into helping the problem rather than making it worse or give a balanced truth about the situation they cant do anything but stir although television audiences are just to blame as its what “we” like to see….
