Bought the DVD, love it, as well as this you tube trailer. The music is fantastic!
I own two Border Collies and absolutely adore these dogs. I live a very active life style and my dogs go everywhere with me. If not working livestock, the key to keep this breed of dog happy is to keep them mentally and physically active. Quite the commitment, but it works for us!

Border Collies are incredible, our Border Collie could do anything, including talk back to us like a human, forming words and carry on a “conversation”.

yes they do still …
yes they do still have herding instincts but some have no desire to work farmers get rid of this type of dog if you live in a rural area you could maybe get a dog that shows no intrest in sheep for a pet or try a animal shelter or if you dont live in a rural area it shouldnt be a problem but they need stimulation of some form
I breed border …
I breed border collies and even if they aren’t trained what so ever to herd and such it’s deffinately in there blood to do so. It isn’t a bad thing though! They are so smart and you will love them! If you have ducks, chickens, geese or other animals like such living on your property they will instinctively try to herd them. They are very easy to train, loyal and everything dethbygrandmaster said. I definately reccomend getting one

My girl passed away …
My girl passed away two weekends ago, she was bought from a farm as a 8 week old pup. She had never been taught to herd cattle or sheep,.. but I can definately confirm they herd instinctively. She would bail up our cats, and once we had chickens she would corner them too. They are an amazingly loyal and loving animal, absoloutely zainey personalities. We have picked out a new pup and pick her up in three weeks. You wont regret it, just be prepared to exercise with hime or her!
