THIS IS AWESOME!
My favorite dog trainer and dog whisperer of all time has just released a free video online explaining how to eliminate 94% of all unwanted behavior in ANY dog.
Her name is Krista Cantrell and I absolutely LOVE the way she teaches.
Click on the video to watch. You'll be glad you did...

Aspen is new to our group. His owner wants a Bark indication. In this collection, Aspen is being rewarded for single a good bark. Watch as he starts to “get it”, and offer the bark quicker, and with less muttering. This is where it all starts for a Bark indication.

I recently adopted a three month old puppy from a shelter. She comes home with me in a couple of days. I have read books and online pages about training puppies so I am well prepared for my new puppy. But I am concerned because my dad owns a dog that isn’t very well trained. She is 13, and happy but doens’t have the best manners. Will that affect my new puppy? Or any advice about my situation?
Yes. Sadly, the younger dogs will learn from the older, and it’s always the negative traits that get passed on very quickly! Train them separately to make sure that your puppy knows to pay attention to you rather than the older dog. And, while you’re at it, why not spend a half hour a day training the older dog as well? (It’s never too late to get a handle on them.)

http://www.sitmeanssit.com My puppy has already learned to get into and out of the water safely, a long with knowing how to retrieve in water also. Today is just a fun little game of having him negotiate a little obstacle on a straight line to the pool.
These little games of learning to go straight through, and not around objects will help him in his learning to run hunt tests when he is a little older.
It is very hot in Las Vegas right now, so I try to constantly come up with imaginative things to keep him interested in training, but yet still be able to keep him cool with the summertime heat. “Kohl” is a 3 1/2 month old Black Labrador Retriever.

I have a 2 1/2 month old German Shepard puppy and i was wondering how much petsmart charges for puppy training classes. for location my closest one is Humble Texas. I was going to call but i said: Hey why not ask here? Thank-You!!!
The cost is $109 for an 8 week course. If you want private one-on-one lessons, the cost is higher… but I forget the exact amount. If you’re an employee… it’s free.
He’s just the right age to start too! Puppies must be between 10 weeks and 5 months to enter the puppy training classes.
The trainers are NOT dimwits, the trainers at my store are all CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainers). I’m not sure if it’s a requirement to be hired for the position, but ALL trainers have to undergo training to BE trainers and are accredited by PetSmart. If they’re not good enough, they get the boot. The owners of the dogs seem very pleased with our trainers. I have yet to hear a complaint and when I watch the pups, its OBVIOUS that they’re learning and the trainers know what they’re doing.

Bambi is very mischievious but very bright. Here she is going through the tasks needed for the KC Good Citizens’ Bronze award (plus off lead work which is not required). Going through a gate in a contolled manner poses no problems for her. She is learning very quickly and loves it!
